Two teams. One surprise theme. One Captain per team.
Each player pays 500c to enter — and I’ll match the pot.
Total prize: 8000c 💰
Winning team splits it: 2000c each 🏆

👥 Team Setup

• This is a 4v4 match (unless demand is higher)
• Everyone who enters will be dropped into a randomizer to decide teams
• Once teams are set, each team will decide on a Captain
• Captains are decided before the game starts — I will ask each team at the event who their Captain is. You will join your Captain to their blank room to begin the design process.

I will start a 5 minute strategizing/preparing items timer, and then the 30 minute design timer will start. Everyone is encouraged to have their inventories ready with common decorating items (plants, flowers, rugs, etc) from their storage) but ultimately preparation is up to you and not mandatory.

All timer starts and ends will be posted in Discord, have it readily available to see!

Host (me) will reimburse the cost of the room purchase itself (not items purchased for the event, encouraged to use what you already have anyway).

Captains build the room using their own account.
Teammates are encouraged to give their design feedback in game or through Discord while the captain is in edit mode. Ultimately the captain can make final calls.
Teammates can trade items to the captain to use — but make sure you trust them. Trades are at your own risk that you will receive it back.

🎭 Theme Drop

I’ll reveal the room theme right before the round starts.

You’ll have 30 minutes ⏱️ to build. I will send the Captains a tagged reminder on Discord at the 25 minute mark, (have Discord open and readily available) then jump between both team rooms. If the Captain still has the editing symbol above their avatar at the 32 minute mark on the dot, the entire team will be disqualified. (Two minute grace period).

🧑🏼‍⚖️ Judging

I’ll judge both rooms based on:

• ✨ Creativity
• 🎨 Theme execution
• 🧩 Cohesion
• 🔥 Overall impact

Judging will not be biased and will be solely based on the room design — not who is on the team. I will screenshot both rooms at the ending timer and begin the judging process
Winning team splits the full pot evenly.

I may also name an MVP 🌟 and toss them a bonus.

📅 SCHEDULING NOTES

We’re aiming to run the event Sunday at 3:00 PST (hour before reset / 11 PM UTC) subject to change if it doesn’t work for majority of people.
If there aren’t enough signups, the event will be delayed.
Prize structure, entry fee, and players per team are also subject to change based on turnout/demand, but any updates will be posted.
