🎲 Chat Commands
A new feature will be arriving very soon! Introducing Chat Commands! Players will soon be able to type commands into the room chat to trigger special actions.

/help will return a list of commands and what each of them do, in-case you forget after reading this.
/flip will flip a coin, and return either heads or tails to the room chat.
/roll will roll a 6 sided dice and return the result to the room chat.
/random will choose a random player in the room at the time the command was send, and return their display name to the room chat.

We are so excited for chat commands to arrive and bring a new layer of fun to chatting with your friends, and hosting games with fellow players! We are always open to new ideas, so please leave any suggestions for future chat commands that you would like to see added!

✅ Game build size
We have finished reducing the game build size... For now! After months and months of completely recording how items are created in MegaPlanet’s engine room, and removing item images from the game build, we have finally completed this piece of work. We have reduced the game size to more than 2/5th of its size before we started this task, and initial loading times have significantly increased as a result. Tom L has been through 3 pairs of glasses throughout the duration of this task.

🍳 Yard Sale Kitchen
Its no secret that MegaPlanet has been lacking in the kitchen department, but that’s all about to change! Whilst fun, themed collections are great, our artists took a pause from creating weird and wonderful items to give some focus to the Yard Sale collection. Soon, over 50 new items will land in the Yard Sale collection and will be permanently available for players to build modern, sleek kitchens.

👨‍🦰 Player Info Menu
Next on the agenda is some more UI improvements! The ugly menu that appears when you click a player is about to get a serious makeover. Not only will this we a fresh lick of paint, but will also be a complete recode on how this menu works. Eliminating existing bugs and improving the overall experience of using the player info menu.

⭐️ Level Up UI
A new level up menu is on its way. The new menu will allow users to see their progression, as-well as previewing what prizes they still have to look forward to as they climb up the levels.

⚽️ Football Fever & Decorators Collection 🖌️
So many have asked, and the answer is YES! You will be able to represent your country this summer in a football themed collection! Football Fever will kick-off on the 6th of June, with a whopping 48 national flags also being added as part of a separate, permanent collection called “Decorators Collection”.
The Decorators Collection will be dedicated to items that are not furniture. Starting with 48 national flags, with items such as paving slabs, water, sand, loose stones, wall sections and more to come!

We are so excited to close this chapter on optimisation after many long months of work, and shift our focus back to more feature based updates! Thank you all for being so patient whilst we complete this boring, but absolutely essential work.
